Youth Work Coordinator

Location: St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton (with up to 40% home working)

Hours: Full time, core hours 10:00-16:00 Mon-Fri with flexible start and finish times.

Contract Type: Permanent

What will you be doing?

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Youth Work Coordinator to join our team and be responsible for the development and coordination of our Premier League Kicks programme. Kicks is aimed at 8-18 year old’s and strives to bring young people together to take part in activities whilst socialising with friends.

In this position you will use the power of the Southampton FC brand and the value of participation to help young people make positive change to risk and protective factors. By engaging them in constructive activities, including but not limited to sports, coaching, educational and personal development sessions.

Is this you?

If you have previous experience in managing community projects, developing partnerships and building relationships within local communities, and working with young people in areas of deprivation then you’re the person we are looking for.

You are without a doubt a people person who loves building relationships and being a positive influence on the younger generation.

Essential Skills:

Qualified to a minimum UEFA C License (previously known as FA Level 2), or another sport and/or Level 2 Youth Work.
