Role description
The Albion Foundation is the charity partner of West Bromwich Albion Football Club. Our vision is to create a Proud Albion Family, Engaged, Inspired & Achieving its Potential. We have a number of exciting opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join our Behaviour Change team.
We are seeking to appoint a Youth Wellbeing Mentor who will provide 1:1 mentoring sessions, small group interventions and extra-curricular activities to targeted young people across a range of Foundation programmes. They will work closely with partner agencies to identify suitable progression routes and development opportunities that focus on topics such as: health and wellbeing, life skills and employability.
This role is responsible for delivering mentoring that is person to and co-designed with each young person, as well as planning and delivering a range of educational interventions and enrichment activities in schools to targeted individuals and small class groups, both within curriculum and as out of hours activities.
Additionally, you will be supporting young people to access internal and external programmes in line with their needs and interests, and developing strong and sustainable relationships with targeted pupils, key school staff and other professionals.
