Job Title: Youth Academy Director
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Overview
Carolina Velocity FC is seeking an energetic and dynamic Youth Academy
Director to lead our Youth Academy program. The Youth Academy Director
will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of player development and program
management for our academy teams. This role is critical in shaping the future of
our club by ensuring that our youngest players receive the highest level of
training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development: Design, implement, and oversee the Youth
Academy curriculum, ensuring alignment with the club’s overall
philosophy and long-term player development goals.
Coaching Leadership: Support, mentor, and develop academy coaches,
ensuring they deliver consistent, high-quality training sessions in accordance
with the club’s standards.
Player Development: Monitor and assess player progress, providing
feedback and guidance to help each player reach their potential.
Team Management: Oversee team formation, training schedules, and play
date preparation for all academy teams.
Parent Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents to provide
updates on player development, team progress, and upcoming events.
Administration: Manage administrative tasks related to the Youth
Academy, including scheduling, and reporting.

Qualifications:
Experience: Coaching experience, with a strong background in youth
soccer and player development.
Licensing: UEFA ‘B’ License, or equivalent certification.
Leadership: Proven track record of managing and developing teams.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
the ability to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management
abilities, with experience managing multiple teams and projects
simultaneously.
Passion: A deep commitment to youth soccer and the development of
young players.
Position Requirements:
Available to start no later than 1st September, 2024
This role will be based full time in Raleigh, North Carolina
