"An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the club. Reporting to the Club’s Head of Medical Services and working closely with the Women’s Team. The primary responsibility will be the delivery of high quality physiotherapy / sports therapy. \n \nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\n \nTo accept responsibility for case load, ensuring a high standard of care of all players\nTo undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, including those of patients with complex musculoskeletal problems, using clinical reasoning skills to establish accurate diagnosis\nTo undertake MSK and other screening as directed by Head of Medical\nTo provide highly skilled physiotherapy treatment, using manual therapy and manipulation techniques, while providing elite care for players\nTo plan and implement prehabilitation programs based on screening and injury history\nTo maintain comprehensive, accurate, confidential, and contemporaneous medical and patient records\n To ensure that patient confidentiality and dignity is always maintained\nTo observe strict confidentiality in respect of all information about players or matters relating to the Club\nTo maintain a safe working environment and comply with Health and Safety requirements and associated procedures, including accident reporting\nTo communicate with players in a professional manner to maximise the effectiveness of treatment modalities\nTo liaise, as required, with other members of the multi-disciplinary medical team\nTo follow instructions from the Head of Medical and provide information and progress reports as required\nTo participate in clinical audits as directed by the Head of Medical\nTo attend women’s 1st team training sessions and matches\nTo attend and participate fully in team meetings organised by the Head of Medical\nTo take responsibility for own Continuous Professional Development through self-directed learning and reflective practice in line with Clinical Governance and Health Professions Council standards\nTo maintain registration with Health Professions Council, adhering to standards of conduct, performance and ethics\nTo undertake such other duties as might reasonably be required from time to time\n \nSkills and Experience required:\n \nBSc/MSc Physiotherapy or BSc/MSc Sports Therapy or BSc/MSc Sports Rehabilitation\nFor Physiotherapists - registration with HCPC and CSP \nFor Sports Therapists/ Rehabilitators - registration with BASRaT or SST\nNational Sports First Aid certificate or equivalent\nFull UK Driving License\nAt least two years working as a Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist / Rehabilitator since graduation\nPrevious football experience desirable, but not essential\nAbility to work independently, and as part of a team\nCommitted to a flexible weekly work schedule normally spread over six days and involving evening and weekend work"
