Job Description
Paul D. Camp Community College is a small 2-year college in Southeast Virginia. Campuses are located in Franklin and Suffolk. There also is a center in Smithfield. The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and career studies certificates In transfer and career/technical programs; credit and non-credit workforce services and training for businesses and industries; special interest classes for the community; and summer classes for youth through the Regional Workforce Development Center. A dual enrollment program for high school students, online courses, and developmental studies classes are available at the college as well.

The Women’s Head Soccer Coach is responsible for recruitment, fund-raising,
program development, practice preparation, and game day coaching. Recruiting duties include scouting and identifying student athletes in such a manner that encourages diversity, while maintaining a competitive team. Rules compliance duties include: managing the soccer program in full compliance with NJCAA, Paul D. Camp Community College and the Athletics Department policies and procedures.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
Previous college-level experience in playing or coaching soccer. Knowledge in fund-raising and recruiting. Valid driver’s license and use of a personal automobile, with the ability to be insured to drive college vehicles. Available for frequent evening and weekend games and practices. Ability to use sound judgment and critical thinking skills when determining students’ needs. Ability to apply knowledge of college and NJCAA policies and procedures. Ability to relate to potential students with diverse backgrounds. Ability to interact with faculty and staff as it relates to student academic needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Soccer head coaching experience on the college level. Experience in fund-raising and recruiting student-athletes.
