Role description

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a Women’s Development Team Assistant Coach to support its women’s teams operations at its facilities in Stoke-on-Trent.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the Women’s Development Team Head Coach in all aspects of activities regarding the squad. You will provide a high quality, supportive and enjoyable environment. Duties will include the planning and delivery of training sessions as well as supporting the Club's vision and identity in both developing people and players. The role will involve supporting the progression of players into the first team, whilst supporting players from the first team who are playing development team football.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively across the matchday team and first team staff as well as maintaining values and culture in both internal and external environments. You will be able to build strong relationships with players to support their development, understanding individual difference, as well as being enthusiastic, passionate, caring and committed.
The role requires a high degree of commitment and you must be able to work evenings and weekends to cover matchday fixtures and other adhoc events at the bet365 Stadium.
The position will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis. All relevant training will be provided.
