ROLE DESCRIPTION

**Job Advertisement: Women’s and U19 Lead Physiotherapist at Wrexham AFC**

Wrexham AFC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Physiotherapist for our Women’s and U19 teams. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a top-notch Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation service to maximise player performance and recovery.

In this role, you will assess injuries, create and implement treatment and rehabilitation programmes, and provide regular feedback to the team’s Manager and Coach. Collaboration with the Strength & Conditioning coach to develop pre-hab and conditioning programmes is essential. You will also manage pre-season screenings, in-season data collection, and ensure all medical records are meticulously maintained.

The position requires booking and attending medical appointments with players, providing pitch side cover during training and matches, and attending CPD sessions.


Candidates must hold a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent, be registered with HCPC and CSP, and possess a valid sports trauma/first aid qualification. Experience in a similar role within football or elite sports is essential. You should have strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, proficiency in maintaining medical records, and the flexibility to work varied hours.
