About the Team:

Formed in 2010, the Chelsea Foundation is one of the world leading football social responsibility programmes. Using the power of sport to motivate, educate and inspire, we believe sport can be harnessed to support communities and individuals, both at home and abroad.

The Foundation brings together the Community, Education and International departments, along with the club wider charitable, CSR and community activities, and equality programmes.

On top of our outstanding football development projects, the Chelsea Foundation works on a broad range of initiatives focusing on employment, education, social deprivation, crime reduction, youth offending and much more.

What Were Looking For:

A candidate to deliver high quality activity across all available contracted hours and to deliver on Women and Girls programmes to further develop and grow the activities and to deliver high quality sports provisions.


To deliver safe, inclusive and high quality coaching sessions on a daily basis across the core programmes. These to include, but not limited to all In-School and Out of School activity, Player Development Programme activity, sessions at a post 16 football programme and the various activity delivered during the school holidays.
To deliver on activity to support, develop and enhance the relationships with local youth football clubs/schools/organisations/leisure centres/local authority.


Must Haves/qualified by demonstratable experience to the level required:


A minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification (FA Level 1 is the equivalent).
Valid First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.
Experience within community/grassroots sports as a participant or coach.
Worked a minimum of 2 years in community/school/sport setting with participants from under-represented groups including girls and young women.


Nice to Haves:


A full, clean drivers licence.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate and organise, support and improve staff/team members.
Good attention to detail.
