Role description
Working 37.5 hours per week, we are looking for the right person to join our team to be responsible for the provision, laundry and printing of kit for our Women's 1st Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
To operate laundry equipment and dryers
To gather used match kit from Dressing Rooms and/or transit vehicles.
To wash, dry, fold and put away the training and match kits used for matches.
To liaise with the general manager for match confirmation.
To liaise with first team management to prepare and set out equipment for daily on pitch sessions.
To prepare and set out the first team dressing room ahead of all home and away fixtures.
To clean and tidy all work areas e.g dressing room/boot room/kit room etc.
To maintain a high standard of presentation and hygiene in the performance of these duties.
To maintain high standards of work, keeping the whole work area of the Kit Department clean, neat, tidy and organised.
To operate laundry equipment in accordance with the operating instructions.
To observe product data sheets in matters of Health & Safety in personal protective equipment (PPE) and control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH).
To prepare kits for all Youth Pathway Teams and first team at the start of each new season.
To print all first team player/ staff training and match kit in compliance with competition regulations.
To print all U14/PGA U16/U21 training and match kit, for all players and staff.
To attend all meetings as directed by first team management staff and the general manager.
To record and monitor stock levels of training and match kit, including regular stock checks.
To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of all internal stakeholders.To adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Reading Football Club and its operation
To be presentable at all times when working and demonstrate that you can represent the face of the club in the manner expected

PERSON SPECIFICATION
EXPERIENCE:Desirable - previous experience overseeing kit and equipment at a sports club
SKILLS: Essential - ability to drive a minibus (holding the appropriate category on your driving licence); good people skills with the ability to work with and communicate at all levels; excellent organisational and administrative skills. Desirable - able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
ATTITUDE: Essential - a strong interest in football and the club; a positive mindset within the working environment
