Celtic Football Club has an exciting opportunity for a Reporter and Content Producer to join our Marketing & Multimedia team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, proactive individual who is keen to develop their career in marketing and digital with a global brand.
The Women’s & Youth Football Reporter & Content Producer will play a key role in fulfilling the club’s growth ambitions in the Women’s & Youth football markets. The purpose of this role is to manage the match coverage for both Celtic FC Women and Celtic FC B teams and also take the lead creating new content for the Celtic FC Women, Celtic FC B Team and Celtic FC Youth Academy.
Key accountabilities will include:

Provide pre-match build-up, live coverage and post-match reaction from all Celtic FC Women’s SWPL, SWPL Cup, Scottish Cup and European home and away matches.
Provide pre-match build-up, live coverage and post-match reaction from all Celtic FC B Team’s Lowland League, SPFL Cup, UEFA Youth League and Premier League International Cup home and away matches.
Produce a mixture of news articles, match reports, interviews, in-depth analysis, editorial, branded content and behind-the-scenes features.
Distribute content across a wide variety of platforms including the club website, social media, email, podcast and video.
Support the creation and delivery of a day-to-day content strategy for Celtic FC Women, Celtic FC B Team and Celtic FC Youth Academy.
Work closely with the Women’s and Youth football marketing and PR representatives to deliver an enhanced matchday experience.
Develop strong relationships with the various football departments and the wider commercial and PR functions to foster greater fan awareness and engagement within Women’s and Youth football.
Work closely with in-house designer to ensure content is on-brand.
 
Skills and Experience required:
 
A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar sport or youth media role is preferred but not essential.
A solid knowledge of and passion for football is essential.
The role is based at Celtic Park but will require regular travel to both the Women’s and B Team training sessions as well as home and away grounds on match days.
Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
Track record in producing a wide variety of content.
Ability to host and present content on camera.
Video editing would be an advantage.
Highly organised and enthusiastic team player.
Capable of owning projects from specification to delivery and evaluation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
 
Additional Requirements
 
A flexible approach to working hours will be essential, with weekend and evening work required.
A driving licence and vehicle is essential.
