Summary of Your Role
You will be a key role in the delivery of our Westfield Football Academy programme, responsible for providing high-quality support the Football Academy Manager both on and off the pitch, working to achieve the football outcomes of the BTEC students.
Your Roles and Responsibilities, but Not Limited to:
Plan, prepare and deliver a minimum of six hours of coaching per week.
Undertake matchday coaching support and administration for fixtures usually occurring twice a week.
Provide support to the Academy Manager with administrative and logistical tasks.
Support with the general promotion of the football academy including in school, trust-wide and using WFA social media platforms.
Support player reviews for football and wellbeing.
Attend parents evening at Westfield Academy and recruitment events as deemed required.
You Must Have
UEFA C Licence/Level 2 FA Coaching Award (or must be currently working towards completion of C Licence in the 23/24 season).
Experience of working in a developmental football environment.
A desire to help students work positively towards their educational and footballing aspirations.
The ability to demonstrate confident and knowledgeable technical and tactical coaching delivery.
The ability to travel to places of work as determined by the needs of the role.
You Ideally Would Have
UEFA B Licence/Level 3 FA Coaching Award.
D1 Mini bus drivers licence.
Practical coaching experience of a 16-19 football and education programme.
Experience of coaching footballers aged 16-19 years of age.
A good level of understanding of the requirements of students undertaking a BTEC qualifications.
A willingness to be available to support other Trust work outside of this role.
