Chicago Fire Football Club is a Major League Soccer team that was founded in 1997 and is Chicago’s ambassador to the global sport of soccer. The Club recently returned to Soldier Field as well as opened a new 50,000 square foot office in the heart of the city. With tremendous growth and expansion, the Club is laying the foundation for an audacious and ambitious vision that will transform the brand and the success of the Club in the coming years. The 2022 Chicago Fire Summer Internship Program is designed to provide outstanding individuals interested in a career in sports with the opportunity to experience the inner workings of a professional sports team firsthand.
Running from May – August (with flexibility based on schedule), this paid program provides individuals with the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute to the organization's success while developing their personal and business acumen. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through interesting project assignments, meetings with Club employees across the organization, and various additional events (such as Chicago Fire matches at Soldier Field).Some of the fabulous employee perks the Chicago Fire Football Club Internship Program offers include:

SUMMARY: The Chicago Fire Football Club is looking for a current or recent college graduate to join the team as a Videography intern. This individual will work closely with other members of the Content Creative Team to assist with a variety of design and photography tasks. This is a paid role up to 30 hours/week from May 23 through August 5, 2022.  RESPONSIBILITIES 
·         Assist with all facets of video teamwork including ideating unique concepts, developing production plans, gathering input from stakeholders, scheduling, filming, and post-production
Assist with producing short-form video edits designed specifically to stop fans in their scroll on social media
Assist in production of long form documentary series around the first team players and staff
Capture footage of Chicago Fire matchdays and training sessions
Assist with shooting and editing press conferences, player interviews, highlight reels, community relations events, and delivering assets to broadcast and in-stadium
Log and archive footage to facilitate future accessibility

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19
Experience with Digital Cine and mirrorless camera operations
Demonstrated experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac devices, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
Must be a current college student or recent graduate
Demonstrated ability across composition, creativity, and color usage
Proven ability to interact and brainstorm concepts within a team setting
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed
Well organized with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Good problem-solving and organizational skills
Working knowledge of soccer and familiarity with Major League Soccer
Spanish speaker preferred
