ROLE DESCRIPTION

1.     The Department
We at Aston Villa have an exciting opportunity for a talented Videographer / Editor to join our Content and Digital department. The post holder will work a dynamic and fast paced environment within the creative video team – alongside the wider Content team (editorial, social media) delivering outstanding video and live streaming content that resonates with our fanbase.
 
2.     The Role
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Videographer / Editor; one that has a sporting and media production background.
Responsible for filming and editing content in and around a football environment, this varied post will involve filming matches for VillaTV live products, as well as filming and editing action footage, player and manager interviews, press conferences, features and matchday activities. This is a busy role that requires self-motivation and the ability to be organised and plan ahead.
 
3.     The Person
We are looking for someone who can bring a story to life in an engaging and innovative way bringing the best video content to Aston Villa fans around the world.
The ideal candidate will have previous demonstrable experience working within a similar videography role, in particular football. You will be highly proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Sony video camera equipment and audio and lighting equipment.
You will need to be able to prioritise and multitask multiple creative projects effectively with a can-do attitude to find solutions for technical and practical problems that occur within a fast-paced working environment.
