Goal is looking for a creative and innovative video editor who is passionate about football storytelling and video on social to supercharge our offering.
Our expanding team needs new video formats to share content daily across a network that covers all corners of the globe.
Our successful applicant will play an important role in the creation of regular, repeatable formats, and ensuring that the work we do adheres to the highest standards to make sure that we are consistent as well as compelling.
The person we are looking for is immersed in social media and you are across the latest trends in video production and editing. You will be part of a team that lives for football and operates to its calendar so excellent communication and planning skills are also essential.
Excellent knowledge and experience of using Premiere Pro and After Effects
Strong background in video journalism and track record of producing content specifically for social platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat.
Impeccable collaboration skills to work with our English-language team but also the Goal network more globally
Capable of quick turnarounds, with multiple projects on your plate at any given moment.
Understand brand guidelines and correct application of assets.
Effective communicator and team player who will collaborate with producers, journalists and editors to create compelling work.
A keen interest in industry trends and remaining ahead of the game.
Attention to detail that vets not just your own work but those of your colleagues and makes small improvements to it, day in and day out
Relevant university degree, equivalent qualification or experience working in social media, video production, or another relevant multimedia field
Resourcefulness: how do we solve problems? How do we improve every piece of work?
Time management: we have plenty of projects on the go—can you prioritise effectively?
Team player: our best content involves many people contributions—can you invite others to help you on yours, and can you add something to someone else?
Innovation: Platforms and styles change—can you change with them?

Editing, planning, and developing video formats of your own for others to work with and execute
Project management and scheduling
Proofreading scripts and video content, and shaping scripts for videos.
Collaborating with people beyond the in-house team, whether it procuring and working with third party assets, or leaning on the wider Goal network that covers every continent. Working with Goal editions on global content concepts.
