ROLE DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:    Vice President, Corporate PartnershipsDEPARTMENT:    Corporate PartnershipsFLSA STATUS:    Exempt ROLEThe VP, Corporate Partnership will oversee the entire Red Stars Corporate Partnership strategy and manage the Corporate Partnership team. This position will own the entire Corporate Partnership revenue target and drive the development of innovative partnership deals that fit within the overall CP business.  RESPONSIBILITIESOversee prospecting/new business strategy and manage Manager, Partnership DevelopmentOversee activation/renewal strategy and manage Manager, Account Activation Review proposals and obtain internal approvals on assets/pricing from MSE, Director, Corporate Partnership Development. Collaborate with MSE Director, Corporate Partnership Development to develop cohesive category sales strategy Collaborate cross functionally to ensure new ideas/concepts work within overall organizational strategyProvide senior leadership to assist Managers in negotiationsOversee development of necessary sales tools and materialsDefine and own expense budgets related to the implementation and execution of corporate partnership agreementsDevelop strategic partnerships that are innovative and utilize non-traditional partnership assets REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year universityAt least 7 years of previous sales/consulting experience Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, especially with business decision makers and senior executivesAbility to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organizationDemonstrated alignment with the core values and goals of the Red Stars organizationDemonstrated negotiation skillsAbility to work a non-traditional schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPrior experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience closing large, complex, strategic dealsDeep knowledge of sports market and partnership & services offeringsAbility to anticipate clients’ needs and proactively find solutionsExperience using market research tools such as SponsorUnited  We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
