The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for providing a consistent and thorough UX UI design to Man Citys fan facing digital products and services.
You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team working alongside product managers, development teams, researchers, internal stakeholders and other designers in order to lead the UX process on projects and creating development ready designs.
This is an exciting role that will develop fan centred designs for digital products which can be implemented by development teams. You will be required to develop user flows and prototypes in order to test and illustrate UX, UI and design concepts.
Youll be asked to run user testing sessions to evaluate designs and gather feedback directly from fans, and work with developers to ensure consistency of design throughout the development process.
Youll work with the team to own and iterate a core set of digital UX/UI design patterns that will form a central design system for all and future digital products.

Your Impact
1.Understand product visions and objectives to create design and UX solutions that delivers against this.
2. Use performance metrics, fan feedback and your own knowledge and understanding to proactively refine products and introduce incremental UX and UI improvements and overall digital journey optimisations.
3. Produce detailed design documentation of work packages required so that these can be shared with development teams, internal product managers and 3rd party suppliers.
4. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to become a trusted digital design advisor and champion within the wider business.
5. Apply agreed branding standards and tools, to achieve well-aligned and consistent designed outcomes.
What we are looking for
Essential
Confident with either Figma, XD or Sketch.
Proven experience of creating development ready, responsive designs.
Able to work on all levels of design, from high-level flows and journeys to development ready designs.
A good understanding of accessible design.
Good communication skills.
Proven problem solver.
Able to work as part of a team or equally independently on design solutions.
Desirable
Experience with any of Zeplin, Jira, Confluence, Maze, FigJam/Mira is advantageous
Native iOS and Android design experience.
Experience of working directly with technical teams.
Ability to participate and run ideation workshops.
Experience of developing design patterns as part of a wider design system
Experience with Creative Cloud (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects)
