Hours of Work:Hours are set to meet the needs of the business but are a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

Development of players within the foundation development phase.
Implementing a coaching program of the highest quality for players within the foundation development phase.
Assisting with the successful completion of departmental KPI.
Attend all continued professional development events.
Actively engage in a fully functioning competency framework and integrated appraisal process.
Monitor the wellbeing of Academy players at all times liaising with the Club Safeguarding Team.
Ensure compliance with all the Policies and Procedures contained within the Staff Handbook, paying particular regard to the Equal Opportunities Policy and Health Safety Policy and procedures at all times.
Manage fixture schedules for groups and individual players within the group.
Ensure the review process is operated for each player every mesocycle.
Monitor and record training/fixture content, objectives, time and attendance on the football intelligence platform.
Monitor and evaluation of all players within the age group for succession planning purposes. JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RELATIONSHIPS: SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To independently source and review video clips of individuals and groups with reference to player individual learning objectives in liaison with the Performance Analysis Department.
Oversee the trialist who enter the age group providing suitable evaluation and feedback during the signing/exit policy.
Conduct a review of the previous ten-week coaching cycle at each interval; 10/20/30/40-week coaching meeting.
Prepare a 10-week plan in line with the syllabus ahead of each cycle; 10/20/30/40-week.
Prepare and deliver any appropriate off pitch coaching content to enhance the players learning experience (Example: activation video/individual/group clips)
Liaison with education, recruitment, player care, psychology, sport science and medicine staff on all related matters to enhance a multi-disciplinary process.
Attendance at all meetings as required for both the age group and the multi-disciplinary team. Contribution within regular multi-disciplinary team meetings for the U9 and U10 groups within the Foundation Development Phase to review the player development within the programme.
To take responsibility for all resources associated with training and fixtures ensuring the highest possible standards (kit, bibs, balls, cones etc).
Liaising with the U11-U12 Cell Lead to ensure smooth running of daily activities.
Undertake a coach development role with the coaching programme on at least four occasions per season.
Coordinate and review Scrapbook tasks for U9-U10 age groups for the first week of each coaching theme.
Assist on the management and coordination of logistics within the programme to promote a selfsufficient culture.
To manage access and promote use of the Football Intelligence Platform for players.
To be aware of the PL/EFL Youth Development rules and requirements relating to the foundation phase.
Any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by the Academy Manager(s) and the Head of Coaching and Player Development U9-U14.
UEFA B License.
FA Advanced Youth Award.
FA Youth Award.
FA Safeguarding certification.
UEFA A License.
Coaching related degree qualification.
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to deliver high quality coaching sessions.

Experience developing professional football players.
Experience working within academy football.
Extensive experience developing professional football players.
Previous experience working within the foundation and youth development phases.

Terms of Appointment
37.5 hours per week.
20 days annual leave (rising by 1 day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 statutory bank holidays).
6-month probation period.
