The Louisville City & Racing Louisville FC Academy is a professional youth soccer organization located in Louisville, KY. The Academy practices the PITCH model to guide its programs, competing at the highest level of American youth soccer while focusing on Personal Accountability, Integrity, Trust, Commitment, and Humility among its young athletes.
The U8-U10 Junior Academy Director will be responsible and oversee curriculum for the U8 – U10 Youth Academy teams. This position will report to the Academy Director with responsibility for growing and developing Academy staff, programs, and business operations.
This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and paid time off. This full-time role consists of weekend, night and some holiday work as demanded by the Academy team schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cultivates and develops curriculum for youth programs.
Responsible for staffing and training coaching staff.
Manages scheduling of league games.
Works with Academy Director to organize club camps, clinics, and programs.
Coordinate & execute parent development seminars.
Collaborate with Academy Director on affiliate member support.
Partners with the Director of Operations to register and schedule all players for training and games.
Works closely with the Academy Director and Executive Business Director on day-to-day operations of the club.
Develops, oversees, and manages the budget within specific programs.
Motivates, inspires, and educates players and training staff.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, nights, and weekends.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will oversee and manage multiple coaching staff within the Academy.
USSF B license required.
Minimum of 7 years of Youth Coaching Experience.
Possesses extensive knowledge and understanding of youth soccer.
Demonstrated ability to teach techniques, tactics, physical and psychological components of the game.
Demonstrates a positive, energetic, and pleasant demeanor when communicating with staff, players, and families.
Experience working with youth soccer teams, technical clinics, or camp required.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with various stakeholders, including coaching staff and directors.
Exceptional organizational skills, reliability, and punctuality.
Must successfully pass pre-employment comprehensive background check.
Must be legally authorized or can obtain authorization to work in the US.
USSF Youth National license.
USSF Grassroots Certificate.
USSF National A coaching license, with the agreement that his/her “A” coaching license will be obtained within 2 years of being hired.
Previous experience directing youth soccer programs.
