Vacancy Description

Will be responsible for developing an elite, multi-disciplinary environment to maximise the development of goalkeepers in the U21 Academy. Plan, deliver, record, and evaluate coaching sessions in line with club`s goalkeeping programme and provide matchday support and analysis.

What will you be doing?

- Liaise with the U21`s Head Coach on all matters relating to Academy goalkeepers.
- Attend all training sessions and match days.
- Complete match analysis for the Academy goalkeepers using Hudl.
- Care out any additional tasks as requested by the U21`s Head Coach.
- Attend all relevant In-service training for Academy coaches and upkeep CPD.
- To attend all Academy staff meetings.
- To keep up to date with all Football Association correspondence.
- To liaise with the Academy goalkeeper parents/guardians regarding player progress at the Academy through player review meetings.
- Ensure you are aware of and stay up to date with Safeguarding and best practice policies.
- To produce session plans for all training sessions in line with the Liverpool FCW philosophy.
- Keep up to date records of sessions and progress reports, player review meeting on Women`s Performance System (WPS).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate to join our team who holds a UEFA B (outfield)/Goalkeeping licence, has safeguarding training, has recent/relevant professional experience in performance environment, has excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability and willingness to work unsociable hours, including weekends.

What we desire in a candidate is for them to have a UEFA A licence (can be working towards), FA safeguarding children, the FA advanced youth award and a up to date emergency aid in football qualification (Basic First Aid for sport - BFAS, The FA Level 2 Emergency Aid in Football - (EFAIF)). We would also desire for candidates to have previous goalkeeping coaching experience at academy level, along with the knowledge of working in an academy structure.
