Person Specification The ideal candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas: – Essential (E) Desirable (D) Education/Qualifications/Experience: • BSc (Hons) Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning or a related field (E) • Post graduate qualification in a relevant field (D) • UKSCA (or equivalent) Accreditation, or working towards (D) • BASES Accreditation, or working towards (D) • FA EFAIF (L2), or above (D) • Previous experience of working with elite young athletes (E) • Experience working within a Football Academy (D) • Experience of managing staff and/or students (D) • Experience using PMA (D) • Effective and appropriate communication skills, ability to build key relationships (E) • Good understanding of growth & maturation and its implications on the development of athletes (D) • Good understanding of the expectations of a Category 1 Academy according to the EPPP (D)
