Aston Villa Football Club are seeking a self-motivated, forward-thinking and proactive individual to join our Regional Talent Club (RTC) as an U14s Coach.
We are now recruiting for an U14s Coach to join our Regional Talent Club based at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. This post will be responsible for driving the development of the RTC programme, working closely with other age groups to implement the club syllabus in-line with our philosophy and club culture.
As the U14s Coach, you will effectively plan, deliver, and evaluate coaching sessions in line with the club syllabus and playing style. Sessions will be regularly reviewed using analysis of matches and training to inform player development.
The postholder will also develop and deliver detailed regular individual progress reviews, as well as produce and implement individual development plans (IDP) and individual learning objectives (ILO) for all U14s players. You will also assist the Technical Director in identification and recruitment of players, in line with the recruitment model and succession planning for the Regional Talent Club.
The successful Postholder must hold a UEFA B Licence or working towards. You should be a FA Licensed Coach (Member of the Licensed Coaches Club to cover safeguarding and first aid), and have a proven ability to identify, recruit and develop talent. You will also need experience of coaching young players, along with an appreciation and experience of mentoring and developing other coaches is required for this post.
You must be a strong team player and have a growth mindset, with proven previous experience of working within interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams.
