CONTRACT TYPE: Casual
LOCATION: Sheffield United Training Academy, Sheffield Hallam Sports Park
LINE MANAGER: Junior Pathway Lead
RATE OF PAY: £12.50 p/hr

Our Sheffield United Women's team are looking for a talented coach to join our Emerging Talent Centre structure. The successful candidate should have a passion for the development of players, and a proven track record of undertaking player assessments to contribute to the individual development plans of players moving through the emerging talent structure.


Key Role Responsibilities:

Lead training sessions for the U10's academy team.
Attend all matches, festivals and relevant coach development (CPD) events as assigned.
As and when required, you may be asked to deliver in-service events for other coaches/ players at the Centre or Grassroots Clubs/ Coaches as part of their regular training hours.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records for each player within the academy on Kitman Labs.
Ensure all information remains confidential and is kept current throughout the player's tenure in the academy.
Implement the Club's coaching philosophy into player assessments, demonstrating the key principles and expectations within individual player reports.
Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.

To carry out/take part in training requests as directed by the Club.

Essential Criteria for the Role:

Completion of UEFA C or above coaching qualification
Experience of coaching young players/youth development
Experience in the development of an age specific staffing structure
FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (iFAiF) or Emergency First Aid
FA Safeguarding Children Course
This role requires a DBS Check
Strong Organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with parents/guardians
Ability to communicate effectively with players of all age ranges
Ability to communicate effectively with coaches across all phases
