Trainee Translator-Interpreter (M/F/X)

THIS WILL BE YOUR JOB

2021 will also be a year full of new challenges and projects for the RBFA.To bring this to a successful conclusion, we are looking for a motivated intern with a great affinity for language and sports.The trainee translator-interpreter will provide linguistic support to all RBFA departments that need it.

The following tasks are part of your duties:


You contribute to the translation into Dutch and French mainly of documents (newsletters, reports, surveys, presentations, vacancies, ...) for various RBFA departments;
The translation of the daily content for the RBFA website is also partly entrusted to you;
You participate in interpreting sessions for our disciplinary committees and commissions;
You also support the team on an administrative level (entering statistics, updating agendas, ...).



DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE?


You are in your Master Translator-Interpreter;
You are looking for an internship in 2021 to gain practical knowledge in the workplace;
You are looking for an internship of at least 3 months;
You are not afraid to take a seat in an interpreting booth and get a taste of the real interpreting work (simultaneous interpreting Dutch-French, French-Dutch);
Knowledge of the football world is a plus but not an absolute requirement.
You are open to translation assignments in various domains.



Your language skills

You speak and write fluently in Dutch and French.A good knowledge of English is a plus.

You are flexible in performing your tasks and know perfectly how to handle confidential information;
