Role description

The Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club, a not-for-profit community focused sports organization, has a new and unique opportunity for a part time Technical Manager to assist with the training and development of our competitive and youth student coaches. The ideal individual will have a passion for our sport and the development of current and future coaches within our organization.
Coach Education Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the KNSC coach education coaching development programs and services. National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) scheduling, hosting and communication with learning facilitators and workshop attendees. Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of KNSC youth coach development and mentorship Advise and monitor all KNSC Coaches on current and ongoing coach development licenses and certifications
Coach Mentorship Create recreational weekly session plans and train youth coaches on delivery and implementation Monitor youth coaches and identify high potential to move into development/competitive coaching stream
Qualifications: Experience in soccer or sport-related background is an asset. OSA Learning Facilitator - asset Strong understanding of Canada Soccer Grassroots and Coaching Development Certifications/Licenses Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Office). Be able to work independently, maintain tight schedules and flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) in a dynamic and service-oriented team environment. Be able to handle multiple tasks, people and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to meet critical deadlines.
