ROLE DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
The Development Centres (Junior National Development Centres (JNDC) and National Development Center (NDC)), under the supervision of the FAS, aim to develop future Singapore National Team players who will not only represent Singapore but also raise the level of our National Teams.
Reporting to the Senior Head, Technical Administration, the Development Centre Team Manager is responsible for the operational and administrative management of the Junior National Development Centres (JNDC) and National Development Center (NDC). The role extends to supporting FAS Youth National Teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with the FAS, football clubs, football academies, schools, SportSG, MCCY, and other relevant parties to facilitate player release for local and international matches. Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Schedule Planning: Collaborate with the FAS Technical Department, JNDC, NDC, and National Team coaches to develop annual training and competition schedules, considering school and international competition calendars.
Strategic Direction: Work closely with coaches of FAS Technical Director, JNDC, NDC, and FAS Youth National Teams to provide strategic input for player development.
Facilities & Equipment: Ensure all necessary facilities and equipment are available for NDC and JNDC training sessions.
Documentation & Compliance: Complete and submit all required documents on time for eligibility in Singapore Sports Institute (SSI) supporting services, SportSG and FAS and ensure overall compliance.
Travel Management: Coordinate international travel arrangements for the team, including visa, accommodation, meals, and flights.
Inventory Management: Liaise with apparel partners and oversee the inventory of equipment and apparel across FAS venues and storage areas.
Financial Processing: Manage allowances purchase orders and provide financial reports to the FAS and SportSG.
General Administration: Conduct general administrative duties to support the day-to-day operation of the Development Centres.
Reporting: Prepare and submit timely reports, plans, and data to the FAS database.
Attendance Monitoring: Attend relevant training sessions and events to maintain daily attendance records.
Overseas Travel: Some travel with the teams may be required.
Miscellaneous: Undertake other duties as assigned by the Technical Director and/or General Secretary.
Pre-requisite
Diploma/Degree in a related discipline.
Good knowledge of both local and international football and operational understanding.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in drafting presentation materials, report writing, and data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
Self-starter and effective team player.
