Position: The Team Administrator: MNUFC2 is part of Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America. Job Description:The Team Administrator: MNUFC2 will help facilitate all day-to-day administration of MNUFC2. Working with MNUFC2 coaches and Soccer Operations, this role ensures that the logistical and support needs for training, travel, games, events and other MLS Next Pro activities are met. This is a full-time position located in Blaine, MN. Reporting to the Director of Team Operations, the main duties of the position will be as follows: Essential Duties: AdministrativeAssist in the registration process for players through MLS Next PRO and other applicable competitions to ensure all players are properly registeredOversee roster management for all upcoming games and eventsSet-up and maintain Teamworks for all scheduling of training and matchesMaintain proper records for rosters, insurance and waiversAct as the Club subject matter expert on all MLS Next PRO rules and regulationsProvide communication to players, staff and coaches about training/match schedule and travel questionsOversee travel coordination by booking and coordinating transportation, hotels and meals for team travel, e.g., reserve meeting rooms, prepare rooming lists, coordinate IT needsWork with Human Resources and Player Care to ensure staff and player onboarding is being completedManage and track spending and budgetMaintain and develop a competitive and successful team environmentSupport MNUFC mission, vision and purposeMaintain and create various relationships inside and outside of the organizationCompetitionCommunicate with opponents in order to coordinate home and away matches, time of games, uniforms, availability of locker rooms, athletic trainer access and training fieldsSchedule referees for friendlies matches through local referee’s assignor; confirm referees for all matches and record names of referees for accurate paymentMaintain annual competition calendar for all age group teams showing training, travel, recovery and off daysSet-up combines or training visits for prospective playersReinforce club culture, roles and expectationsOther duties as directed by the Sporting Department Education/Experience:Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, particularly tasks that are time sensitiveFamiliarity with the professional soccer landscapeStrong communication skills and the ability to work with othersStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Word, ExcelAbility to keep a strong and positive attitude that reflects the spirit of the Club This role is outward facing, and it is imperative the individual projects positive goodwill This role requires a high level of trust and managing delicate and sensitive information Requirements:Able to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends and holiday as deemed necessaryValid Driver’s licenseApplicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Pro Safety and Well-Being policies and guidelinesMNUFC requires a COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, subject to exception under applicable law Preferred:Previous experience working in soccer operationsBilingual Please Note – this position will require some travel, night and weekend/holiday work.
