To coach the Talented Player Program in Dubai

Accountabilities with Key Outcomes:


To ensure all the Manchester City coaching philosophy, methodology and principles are incorporated into the delivery of the program


To communicate and provide proactive project updates to Head Coach and partners when requested


Support the planning and implementation of an annual football coaching syllabus including supporting areas of S & C, Nutrition, and other areas to develop player


To provide player assessment criteria to support a player recruitment process


To understand and plan a player pathway and the development process for players


To work collaboratively as part of a team in ensuring the project is delivered to the required levels and expectations


To support the planning and delivery of a competitive games program both locally and Internationally

This role involves working with children and/or vulnerable adults in regulated activity (or near

children and/or vulnerable adults).

This means that the post-holder is required to apply all relevant policies and uphold both the

Clubs and the local partner's commitment to safeguarding vulnerable people.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

UEFA B License (Level 3) or working towards
Member of a FA to maintain their Coach License or International equivalent
Education in sports coaching or teaching
Post-holder must hold or obtain at the earliest opportunity the relevant safeguarding training (i.e. FA Safeguarding Children Workshop)
Post-holder will be subject a DBS check at the appropriate level and cleared by the Manchester City Safeguarding Officer
To have experience in a football environment both locally and internationally
To have proven experience working with players from varying backgrounds and cultures
To have experience implementing and developing a football coaching syllabus
Demonstrate experience and knowledge of planning, delivering and reviewing sessions
To have knowledge and understanding of player development and the four-corner model
To have experience working within a professional Football Club or sporting organisation
To have the flexibility to travel when required to support projects both in the UK and Internationally
The ability to create a positive working environment that represents Manchester City and the local partner in the marketplace
To demonstrate how to coach and develop players of differing levels of ability
To communicate to players on and off the field and in a variety of settings such as informal, formal, individual or groups
To be organised in the planning, preparation and execution of a project
To self-review sessions with individual players
To have the ability to evaluate and review programs on completion
