As the largest federation in the country, with more than half a million members, the Royal Belgian Football Association represents 4,000 football clubs. Together with Voetbal Vlaanderen and ACFF, the KBVB organizes about 12,000 matches per weekend, including, of course, the matches of the national teams. Talent Scout National Youth Teams (M/F/X)


As a Talent ScoutOn behalf of the scouting coordinator, you will regularly carry out scouting assignments to discover the most promising players and/or players for the national youth teams boys U15 to U21 and girls U15 to U23. Your clear, well-founded opinion about the potential, as well as the specific qualities and working points of the observed players and/or players, will help the scouting coordinator and technical staff of the national youth teams to develop a selection and development plan for players and/or players. to set up and implement. We are expanding our pool of experts, the talent scout will be entrusted with assignments based on quality and proximity, so this can vary weekly. You will also attend and scout both girls and boys competitions.


You have experience as a player/player and/or coach and/or scout at (youth) elite level (boys and/or girls);
You hold the UEFA B diploma and the Talentscout diploma (or equivalent work experience at elite level);
You hold a driving license B and you own a car;
You do not work in a 1A or 1B club, this to avoid conflicts of interest;
You are available to evaluate the talents both on location and via video.

Your language skills

You have a perfect command of Dutch or French with a knowledge of the second national language;
You have an above-average knowledge of English, sufficient to prepare a scouting report, subject to further training in football-specific terms.

Your personality

You only see solutions and you have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
You can handle information discreetly;
You have strong analytical skills and you always meet your deadlines;
You are flexible (evening and weekend work);
You value service, inclusion and integrity.


1 scouting assignment per week with an average time commitment of 4 to 5 hours per assignment. These assignments are usually completed on weekends or evenings with a deadline of 48 hours for the report to be submitted;
In addition to scouting at the competitions, you are also expected to participate in:
Observation of the respective national youth teams at the Proximus Basecamp in Tubize;
(Online) work meetings and (online) training courses.
