Role description

Middlesbrough Football Club are looking to recruit a full time Supporter Services Officer, based at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Head of Supporter Services in championing innovation and a culture of service excellence to improve satisfaction, attendance and retention rates for all MFC supporters.
You will be responsible for providing a family excellence experience within the Generation Red Family Zone (GRFZ) on matchdays/special events and ensuring activities are reviewed and implemented to ensure an exceptional supporter experience.

Ensure we provide a memorable match day experience to those visiting the Riverside Stadium
Liaise with supporters and other organisations in the preparation and delivery of matchday activities
Assist in the administration of the supporter communications process, ensuring that individual requests and complaints are dealt with in line with agreed Company procedures.
Contribute to the achievement of excellence in supporter relations by engaging with fans on a one-to-one basis, in fans forums and via focus groups
Participate in the planning and set up of the stadium for matchdays ensuring that a checklist for service excellence based on Football League criteria is adhered to and that all points are met for each and every first team home game


Have experience of working within a fast-paced customer service environment
Hold a GCSE qualification in Maths and English at a minimum grade 4 (C)
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Be able to work under pressure with good attention to detail
Demonstrate good planning and organisation skills
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Be flexible to work evenings and weekends. Working on matchdays is essential
Be eligible to work in the UK

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and are required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings that are not protected as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exemptions) Act 1975.
The salary for the role will be discussed with shortlisted candidates at interview stage.
