Role description

We are looking for an experienced Support Analyst who is an excellent team player to join our IT Operations team to cover Maternity Leave.In this varied, hands-on role, you will be responsible for providing first and second line support for any technology-based application, hardware, network issues and peripherals for LFC end users across all club sites. You will be responsible for monitoring, documenting, responding to and resolving Service Desk tickets raised via the system or via phone.What will you be doing?-System Administration including InTune, Active Directory, Office365, Google Accounts, MyView, Access Control System, Mitel Phone System, SolarWinds and VPN accounts.-System Support including Active Directory, Exchange Management, SolarWinds Web Service Desk, Office 365 and Office for Mac. Windows OS 10/11 - Mac OS.-Cable installation, Patching, Maintenance, Access point configuration, deployment and maintenance-Tech Projects/Rollouts including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and support including mobiles, laptops, software and training.-Support multiple platforms and equipment types including TVs, remote working platforms, desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and meeting room video-conferencing equipment.-Procure licenses and equipment including laptops and mobile phones for all levels of the business. Arrangement and cancellation of mobile connections, monitor accounts, SIM swaps, PAC code requests and production of reports.-Diagnose, evaluate and resolve sometimes complex situations and when appropriate escalate or route through appropriate channels for the correct outcome.-Organise office moves, ensuring safe movement of hardware and reconnection in new locations i.e. desk moves-Repair equipment and replacing parts-Contribute, develop and build a knowledge base of documentation for typical issues and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention.-Plan, process, procure and administer new starters and leavers, following process through to completion.-Maintain asset records and maintain stock levelsWho are we looking for?To be successful, you will have recent experience working within a service desk environment with a strong, up to date understanding of Windows OS, mobile (iOS / Android) and Office 365 settings and configuration. In addition, you will also have knowledge of Mac OS. You will have a broad knowledge of various packaged applications as well as an understanding of ITIL framework.You will have excellent communication and customer service skills in person, over the telephone, via email or the Service Desk ticket system and are able to establish and measure realistic expectations for user. You will be a good problem solver with the ability to work well in under pressure. You will be able to use own initiative and be confident to work alone or as part of a team. You will be flexible to meet the demands of the business with the ability to travel to any of the club sites at short notice. You will also be comfortable and able to meet the physical demands of the role.Why should you apply?This is a maternity leave cover role for up to 9 months commencing in June 2022; working 35 hours per week 5 days out of 7.
