Job Purpose
We are looking for highly motivated Activity Leaders to join our team this Summer. Our Foundation has a wide variety of programmes running across the six weeks including soccer schools, multi-sport programmes, community sessions, and festivals. Activity Leaders will be responsible for delivering sessions within our various programmes, depending on experience.

Job Summary

The planning and delivery of creative, active and engaging activity sessions for children from 5-18 years old.
To develop positive relationships with all key partners including children, parents and fellow coaches.
Must be available to work for all of or the majority of the six week summer programme.
Support the administration elements of the programme including data collection and session compliance.
Follow policies and procedures to ensure the children / young people in your care will have fun in a safe environment.
Support the creation of media information and case studies / good news stories to measure the impact of the programme.
Work flexibly to ensure full and supportive delivery of the programme.
Take responsibility for general welfare and safeguarding.
Commit to ongoing self-directed learning in order to further develop work related skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

Experience coaching a sport or delivering activities to young people.
Sound sports development or school education knowledge and experience with a proven track record of achievement.
Ability and passion required to deliver engaging activities to children and young people.
Ability to empathise with and give support to participants who may not feel comfortable in learning or sports related environments


Experience working within a holiday programme environment.
A sport specific coaching qualification.
Completed FA Playmaker or Palace for Life Kick Off course.
Level 1 or Level2 coaching qualifications.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of working with a variety of participants with wide-ranging abilities.
Experience of working with those with a disability or other additional challenges.
Current DBS certificate.
Clean driving licence.
