The job
Brighton & Hove Albion FC are looking for a Strength & Conditioning Coach to come and join the team in supporting the Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach and Sports Scientist on the provision of sport science and strength and conditioning of the women¿s and girls' programme.

What does the day to day look like?
Working closely with the Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach and Sports Scientist, you will support the prescription and supervision of strength and conditioning sessions that reflect a scientific underpinning with reference to a long-term athletic development, periodisation, adaption, peaking, tapering, injury, and rehabilitation, including the implementation of individual and squad specific injury prevention programmes. You will also work closely with the DCA and RTC to design and agree structured, sequential, evidence based athletic development programmes.

What we need
The successful candidate must hold the following qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Sports Science/ Strength and Conditioning or related area from a recognised University
Attended UKSCA workshops and working towards full accreditation / Hold a UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC) credential
Hold a UK Anti-Doping Accredited Advisor (UKAD Clean Sport Advisor)
FA Emergency First Aid qualification

The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check).
