Role description

Maidenhead United FC Women's team are looking to recruit a Strength & Conditioning coach who can also offer some sport science support to work alongside the current coaching team.

Key Roles:

Plan and deliver effective and individualised player pre-activation sessions in collaboration.
Plan and execute effective team warm-ups and conditioning sessions during or prior to team training session as well as match days.
Collect, interpret, and use strength assessment data to inform specific individual injury prevention programs.
Utilise strength and conditioning assessment data to identify individual player’s strengths and weaknesses and set achievable conditioning targets agreed with players, and technical staff.
Sport science support, will be based around analysing & reporting on players physical performance during training & matches, by utilising the 'fitogether - ohCoach' GPS system we currently have.

This is a great opportunity for a current degree student OR a recent graduate to gain experience within a football environment during the current season and beyond. ALSO anyone with industry recognised qualifications, may also apply.


1. Match Days are Sunday afternoons, with the very occasional Wednesday evening fixture (the team currently complete in the FA Women's National League South).

2. Training takes place Tuesday & Thursday evenings, within the Maidenhead area.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a voluntary position, hence suited to a student/graduate looking for hands on experience. The successful candidate will be given club training kit, and transport from Maidenhead to all AWAY fixtures can be arranged.
