Our Aston Villa Women's Football Team achieved huge success by gaining promotion to the Women's Super League in the 2019 / 2020 Season. Since this time, we have continued to invest, build and develop our team and have proudly cemented our place in the top flight of women’s football.
In continuing our journey and building for the future, we are focusing our efforts to ensure our Women's Team have the resources in place to help us deliver our ambitious plans for nurturing, encouraging and developing talent and striving to become a leading force in women’s football.
2. The Role
Aston Villa Women Football Club are seeking to recruit a proactive and motivated individual to join their Women’s Sport Science Medical department in a role primarily focused on providing strength and conditioning support during gym-based sessions.
The successful candidate with be responsible for providing evidence-based strength and conditioning sessions to the women’s teams players daily, whilst also assisting with the delivery of activation sessions and rehabilitation of injured players.
3. The Person
To be considered for this role you must hold at least a BSc in Sport Science or related field, hold a UK Strength and Conditioning Accreditation (UKSA) or Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC) credential, as well as experience of the delivery of evidence-based programmes in an elite environment. The successful candidate must be able to liaise and build successful relationships within an MDT. You must be able to work flexible hours with travel and overnight stays likely.
