The Purpose

Manchester United is seeking to hire a Strategy Analyst who will be responsible for supporting high-profile projects within the Central Strategy function. The successful candidate will be working across all departments, including Commercial Development, Digital Products and Experiences, Venue and Football.

The Role

To engage with various stakeholders throughout the business across a wide variety of roles. This will include liaising with other teams to collate information.
To work closely with Senior Strategy Managers, and other Analysts to deliver workstreams/projects.
To work with key stakeholders across the Manchester United functions to align on and deliver workstreams/ projects.
To work with the wider strategy and PMO team as required where holistic planning input is required.
Problem Solving, Research & Analysis – Qualitative & Quantitative

To compile and accurately analyse insights and data from a variety of qualitative and quantitative sources.
To use a structured, commercially-focused approach to break down and solve complex and vague problems.
Creating Output – Strategy Documents & Insights

To synthesize qualitative research results into actionable insights . This can be displayed in a variety of formats, PowerPoint, Word, Emails.
To present findings using concise and effective communication - both written and verbal.
To manage the effective production of individual slides and sections of strategy reports.
To structure data analysis in a clear, accurate and auditable way.

Flexibility to work across different projects and topics with the ability tto juggle workload depending on team priorities.
To summarise complex analysis in a simple, well-structured output.
The Person:
Previous experience in a Strategy / Commercial / Professional Services role.
Competency in strategic thinking with an ability to take a structured approach to solving complex business problems.
Highly proactive and ambitious attitude with an ability to work autonomously and make continued progress without prescriptive directions.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise/manage multiple workstreams at once.
Strong knowledge of MS Office required:
PowerPoint – developing insightful and recommendation driven slides and presentations
Excel – competent with data analysis and able to perform tasks quickly and accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a collegiate and collaborative team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver against challenging deadlines.
