Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is an English Premier League Club, based in North London.

Led by the late great Bill Nicholson, the Club became the first in England to win the League and FA Cup Double in 1961, and the first in the UK to win a European Trophy two years later. Spurs has since been home to some of the game great entertainers, including Jimmy Greaves, Glenn Hoddle, Paul Gascoigne, David Ginola, Gareth Bale, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.

In April 2019, the Club opened an iconic new stadium that sits at the heart of a 1billion sport-led regeneration of North Tottenham. The stadium is the largest football club stadium in London and is a multi-use venue with the ability to host a variety of events 365 days a year, including NFL, boxing, rugby, concerts, and other major events, plus visitor attractions including Stadium Tours and the Dare Skywalk.

The stadium development scheme has to date created more than 4,000 new jobs for local people, with circa 300m pumped into the local economy each year.

Tottenham Hotspur is a world-famous football club with a thriving and successful award-winning grounds team. Off the pitch, the Club has a strong and successful business model centred around building a platform for long-term success, which includes a world class Stadium and multi-functional events arena, state of the art Training Centre, first class player accommodation Lodge and the London Academy of Excellence.

The Club Stadium Assistant Grounds Staff will report to the Stadium Grounds Manager assisting in the preparation and smooth operational running of the Club grounds facilities to the highest level of professional standards.

Job Purpose

To be responsible for the efficient day-to-day maintenance of the pitches and surrounding landscape of the Club Stadium site and other associated properties showing both proactiveness and teamwork to deliver exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that all pitches meet the exceptional quality standards expected by Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
Use of pedestrian and ride on equipment.
Assist in the renovation of pitches and grass areas.
Mark out pitches.
Clean equipment and wash down areas.
Monitor pitches daily, record all appropriate information and act promptly to resolve issues.
Take reasonable care concerning own health and safety and that of persons who may be affected by the performance of these duties.
Ensure equipment and materials are available when required.
Keep all equipment and materials in good condition.
Keep abreast of all relevant industry developments.
Undertake any other duties designated by your Line Manager to ensure the smooth running of all operational aspects of the business.
Able to work across multiple sites if required.
Follow the Spurs Way (Dare, Respect, Drive).
Assist with the Club Stadium transitions into multi-use events.

Skills And Experience

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
Spraying certificates PA1, 2 and 6 desirable but not essential.
Previous experience of using a wide range of turf care equipment.
Full driving license.
Stadium experience preferable
