The Aston Villa Foundation is the official Charity of Aston Villa Football Club and prides itself in being innovative in its approach to the club being used as a ‘Force for Good’.
Our Schools department is striving to be at the forefront of supporting schools across the city through innovative curriculums and bespoke delivery. The department oversees our Primary School Sport and Education programmes that aim to engage and inspire children and teachers across the National Curriculum using the power of the club, football and the Premier League.
The Sport Education Officer will be responsible for leading on the delivery and creation of a wide range of STEM related and educational provision, as we actively seek to increase our Schools offering.
We will encourage you to use your skill set to create and develop new and exciting projects within STEM Education and enhance our current offering to new levels.
You will also play a key role in supporting the execution of the Aston Villa Foundation strategy and School Sport departmental business plan.
We are seeking a driven and passionate person who wants to make a difference delivering unique educational projects with science, sport and technology
The ideal candidate will have the ability to showcase their skill, knowledge and passion for STEM to provide opportunities and enhance others experiences of technology through the power of sport.
You will have a strong work ethic and have proven experience working in a school setting and/ or community sports organisation and have an understanding and experience of working with children and young people.
