ABOUT OL REIGNOL Reign was established in 2012 as a founding member of the National Women’s Soccer League. The twelve-team NWSL is widely considered to be the most competitive women’s professional soccer league in the world. Over its first tenth seasons, OL Reign captured three times the NWSL Shield while making six appearances in the NWSL postseason. In 2019, the club was acquired by Olympique Lyonnais, one of Europe’s most iconic football clubs. OL Reign plays its home matches at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.  DESCRIPTIONOL Reign is seeking a passionate, experienced and talented Social Media Manager to lead our efforts on key social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating an overarching social media strategy, developing unique plans for each platform, creating and publishing original content (text, images and video) and interacting with fans following the club on the various platforms as the voice of OL Reign.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES·         Responsible for the creation, planning, and analysis of social media strategy and execution to increase brand awareness and overall engagement ·         Attend player training, home games, away games, and other club events to capture content and oversee curation of creative (photos, video, etc.) ·         Oversee content management and community engagement on all social media platforms adapting message and content in alignment with editorial / content calendars  ·         Identify key metrics and report on analytics and insights weekly to monitor goals, recommend improvements and introduce new campaigns to improve metrics ·         Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to amplify messages including club and player announcements, season and retail unveilings, corporate and community partnerships, theme match promotions, youth soccer activities, etc. ·         Manage in-house paid social media campaigns and provide recommendations on other digital campaigns as needed to help lift overall engagement and sales. ·         Manage time and resources to achieve project deadlines, KPI goals, and social media verticals within given budget. ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES·         Storyteller at heart  ·         Curious and creative  ·         Detail-oriented  ·         A problem solver ·         Collaborative ·         Biased towards action ·         A compelling and articulate communicator ·         Energized by a constantly evolving environment ·         Publishing Tools:  Squarespace / Apple Publishing Tools ·         Creation Tools:  Photoshop / InDesign / Word / Excel / Premier ·         Social:  Twitter / Facebook / Instagram / YouTube / Snapchat / TikTok ·         Communication / Collaboration tools:  Outlook / Slack / Confluence   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE·         BS degree in Marketing or relevant field ·         Knowledge of and passion for professional women's soccer ·         Experience working as a Social Media Manager (or equivalent role) ·         Superior copywriting and communication skills ·         Ability to conceive and create social content built to meet KPI or revenue goals ·         Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics a plus ·         Ability to analyze data for organic and paid campaigns ·         Manage design/layout/features of pages on platforms such as Facebook and YouTube ·         Advise on utilizing paid marketing features on social platforms ·         Photography and/or Video Production experience desired We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
