Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the 27th club in January 2019.  In June 2021, Austin FC officially began play in the new, 100% privately financed, $260 million state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium. 
Austin FC is currently looking for a creative and dedicated Social Media Creative Coordinator to be a key contributor in continuing to grow Austin FC owned social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube. Furthermore, the person who takes this role will work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet company goals while executing the social strategy. The candidate will have the ability to shoot, edit, write copy, and create content for Austin FC social channels and monitor daily conversations on social media to help nourish the Austin FC community while exercising the Austin FC brand guidelines and language.

You Will: ·       Be the primary gatekeeper of the Austin FC community engagement across social media channels; and ·       Capture content at Austin FC matches, practices, and events for Austin FC social media platforms; and ·       Create and proof all copy for Austin FC owned social media channels; and ·       Work closely with the Austin FC Design team to update creative social templates; and ·       Ideate and create social media content in line with social media strategy; and ·       Assist in the management of live stream content on social channels; and ·       Assist the Social and Content team with day-to-day content calendar; and ·       Assist with social analytics and recapping social campaigns; and ·       Execute the Austin FC Social Strategy across all owned social media platforms; and ·       Collaborate with departments across the business to meet company goals while executing the social strategy; and ·       Travel to some away matches to execute the matchday coverage. Coordinate with photographers and videographers to capture and deliver content for social channels. 

You Have: ·       Bachelor's Degree ·       Experience using socialbakers or other social media analytics platforms ·       Experience working with a brand social media accounts and knowledge in social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube ·       Knowledge with other creative skills like photography, motion graphics, and videography is a plus ·       Knowledge of soccer is a plus·       Knowledge in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and or Illustrator, and Premiere
