Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in building out ETL pipeline for ingesting data from multiple sources (third party APIs, structured and unstructured data collected internally) and preparing to be ingested by several end users
Collaborate with staff across coaching staff, scouting department, sport performance department and analytics to meet various data needs across the club
Assist in ensuring easy access to data across a variety of front end tools
Assist in creating tools for manual data entry by internal users
Assist in developing club data protocols and processes


Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of Python a plus
Experience with SQL databases
Familiarity with AWS ecosystem (S3, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk) or similar cloud services
Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an interest in working in sports.
Candidates receiving credit for participating in our internship program are strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bilingual in English and Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Maintain highest level of professionalism and confidentiality within a pro-team environment is required.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability.
Possess a positive, outgoing, engaging and professional personality.
Strong understanding and passion for the sport of soccer is preferred.
Excellent communication and organization skills, distilling complex analyses and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways.
