An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Rangers Football Club as a Soccer Academy Executive in Northern Ireland. At Rangers we are committed to creating opportunities for all children of different ages and abilities to participate in football. The Soccer Academy programme aims to provide a fun, safe and challenging environment for children and youths to participate in football.
The purpose of this role is to assist in the development of the Rangers Soccer Academy business plan under the guidance of the Soccer Academy Manager in Northern Ireland.
The success of the role will be determined on the continued growth of the Soccer Academy Programmes generating revenue through weekly centres, holiday camp events, tours, community funded projects and the online academy.
To assist in the Rangers FC business plan in Northern Ireland and ensuring Rangers Soccer Academies Manager in Northern Ireland is updated regularly on progress.
To assist in establishing and maintaining strong links with clubs, community groups and organisations that you can access public funding. Ensuring repeat business and to create new links for seasonal-based Soccer Academies programmes.
Ensure all administrative activities are maintained and provided in an accurate and timely manner to ensure successes of projects.
To help support Soccer Academies product lines and ensure brand is being used in correct fashion within the youth network.
You will be required to deliver a high level of customer service and build strong relationships.
Attend events that are a priority and to give you an opportunity to meet to new clients for new business.
 Any other duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Rangers Soccer Academies Manager in Northern Ireland.
The candidate attributes include:
Job Knowledge
Excellent understanding of the football pyramid in Northern Ireland
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to deliver to large groups of people.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
 Education and Qualifications
Minimum UEFA B Licence
Minimum HND Sports Coaching with Development or equivalent proven experience working within a similar role.
UEFA A Licence
Advanced Children’s Licence
UEFA Youth Licence
 Personal Attributes
Engaging personality and able influencer with the ability to adapt to fresh challenges.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to manage time effectively and efficiently to achieve all aspects of role.
Good team player who is able to mentor and inspire their fellow colleagues, as well as ability to work on own initiative.
Be open to new ideas and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
