About the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join the First Team Performance Analysis Department at Norwich City Football Club, as a Set Play & Training Performance Analyst.
The ideal candidate will be committed and hard-working, with a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge alongside effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Performance Analysis to ensure all Performance Analysis services within the First Team run efficiently for players, coaches, and all staff.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contribute & lead to the delivery of all set play reports & presentations using both video & data, to senior staff and management.
Create & maintain all set-piece databases.
Provide analytical and technical support on First Team matchdays.
Contribute & lead the analysis of training sessions, provide clips for relevant staff.
Create & maintain all training databases.
Complete other tasks as requested by the Head of Performance Analysis & Coaching Department.
Assist in writing and continually updating the department’s standard operating procedures (SOP) documents.

Essential
MSc Degree in a Performance Analysis-related subject
Minimum of 3 year’s working in elite football.
Demonstrates a good level of football knowledge, and a willingness to improve.
Knowledge and competency of industry standard performance, specifically Catapult Pro Video Suite (Focus, MatchTracker & The Hub), Video Telestration Softwares (RT Tactic, Coach Paint).
Proficient using Mac iOS & Windows products (Keynote, Numbers, Final Cut Pro Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
FA Coaching Licence Level 2 or equivalent.
FA Talent ID Level 1.
Desirable
UEFA B Licence or equivalent.
FA Talent ID Level 2.
