ROLE DESCRIPTION

About The Role








We have a fantastic opportunity for a Academy Foundation Therapist to join the Academy team.

This is a part time role working 12 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide pitch side first aid cover for fixtures and training.
Ensure the first aid equipment is in date, accessible and transported to the appropriatevenues.
When requested, attend before, during and after training/games.
Provide a verbal and written handover for relevant injured players to the appropriate full time and casual medical staff.
Ensuring that any safeguarding and welfare concerns of all Academy players are raised and dealt with in an appropriate manner.
To assist in fitness testing and anthropometric testing of all Academy players.
To maintain up to date medical records.

General Responsibilities:

Be an ambassador of the Group, providing excellent customer service at all times whilst portraying a professional image.
Treat all colleagues as customers, ensuring respectful, positive outcomes across all communications.
Adhere to and abide by all BWFC policies, procedures and guidelines, especially remembering responsibilities to others under EqualOpportunities, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity.

About The Candidate






Qualifications & Knowledge

Sports Therapy/Sports Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy Undergraduate Degree.
Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF) or Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF)
Experience of working with Sports Injuries and/or Paediatric Patients.
Ongoing CPD.
