We are dedicated to the beautiful game and its development in every corner of the world and in all of its aspects.We are now looking for aSenior Venue Management Managerthat is part ofFIFAand supports us on our mission.These are your key tasks:


Accountable for the delivery of all infrastructure and venue management aspects of various FIFA Tournaments
Collating, refining, and managing the infrastructure and venue requirements and communicating these to all stakeholders
Maintaining a strategic overview of all infrastructure and venue operations to ensure integration and coordination of various FIFA Tournaments
Translating the infrastructure and venue-related requirements into venue specific implementation plans, to include: resources, budgets and timelines
Ensuring the development and delivery of all venue operating plans, including policies and procedures
Developing, testing, implementing and, ultimately, delivering all venue operating plans into the integrated planning roadmap
Monitoring and ensuring accountable use of venue-related resources (including related budgets).
Defining, refining and monitoring schedules (at both the macro and micro levels) related to the preparation and provisioning of key event venues in line with the Tournament Master Schedule
Identifying all risks and issues associated with the venue management aspects of various FIFA Tournaments and mitigating these through the involvement of relevant governance structures
Designing and leading the infrastructure and venue-related operational readiness exercises and events
Leading the coordination of FIFA site inspection visits


Communicating key milestones and decisions related to venue management to all relevant stakeholders, both within and outside FIFA

A degree from a recognized university
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
Experience in managing the overall delivery of venue management aspects of elite-level sporting tournaments at the level of a FIFA World Cup or similarly sized event
At least 10 years of relevant demonstrable experience in the delivery of high impact tournaments or events
Experience working internationally is essential and experience working in the respective host country would be considered an asset
Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
Discretion & high level of accountability

Solution-minded attitude
This post requires extensive (50%) travel to the respective host country
