You’ll be an integral team member, supporting talent acquisition, diversity, equity and inclusion and growth and development programs. We’re looking for an individual who is excited to grow their skillsets in talent acquisition, supporting the recruitment process and successfully guiding candidates from application through onboarding. They’ll work closely with our team to streamline processes, implement talent and development platforms, and develop communications to highlight Sounders’ unique work environment. The ideal candidate is organized, with an eye for detail, keeping downstream impacts of their work and the big picture in mind. A successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift and reprioritize when needed. Curious to learn and stay informed of industry trends and recruitment approaches, this person will continually seek out new ways to approach problems and improve processes that strengthen the candidate experience and delivers on the club’s recruitment goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :  Talent Acquisition
Partnering with the TA Director to assist with all aspects of recruitment for the club including creating job descriptions, marketing and promoting roles, posting coordination and research, sourcing, interview coordination, evaluation and paperwork coordination.
Manage and own onboarding process for full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
Deliver new hire orientation ensuring key information is conveyed and delivered in a digestible format that speaks to the club’s mission and values.
Work with managers to create communications to announce and inform the club of new hires.
Produce and distribute recruiting reports as needed.
Assist with creation of internship and externship partnerships and programs to grow early career workforce and support the development of staff’s leadership capabilities.
Attend career fairs, presentations, workshops to promote Sounders FC and club employment opportunities 
Support evaluation, implementation and management of processes and tools to streamline hiring processes, enhance candidate experience, elevate reporting capabilities and support DEI initiatives. (ATS, Onboarding, DocuSign, etc)
Partner with TA Director and Marketing team to develop Sounders value proposition and to highlight the culture and benefits of working at Seattle Sounders FC on Sounders career site and social media platforms like LinkedIn. 
Maintain internal documents like staff lists, club organizational charts, ensuring consistency in naming conventions and titles across all internal and external platforms
Maintain compliant personnel files according to created policy and guidelines.
Support the TA Director in developing toolkits and training materials to assist hiring managers.
 Growth & Development
Assist with managing the LinkedIn Learning platform as a development resource. Crafting challenges, campaigns and interweaving the platform offerings in employee communications.
Research new training initiatives to advance staff’s capabilities and knowledge.
Support the coordination and communications of Sounders and MLS training programs.
Assist with the development of internal pathway and processes to support employee movement.
Assist with the formation of Employee Resource Groups and partner with them to promote inclusion within business and talent processes.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition role
Strong interest in continual learning of best practices and industry trends in talent acquisition 
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) principles
Previous experience with applicant tracking systems specifically Greenhouse
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to build trust and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organization 
Analytical with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
Strong ownership of responsibilities; able to drive quality deliverables
Dynamic writer with the ability to convey information in the tone and format appropriate to the content/message
This is a hybrid position, working from home the majority of the workweek with the ability to attend Sounders FC matches at Lumen Field, events and meetings as needed. 
Employee must reside within Washington state upon date of hire. 
Employee must be able to facilitate own local travel. 
Must be fully vaccinated at the time of hire and follow all club and league COVID-19 protocols.
