The Football Association [The FA] is the not-for-profit governing body of football in England. It is responsible for promoting and developing every level of the game, from grassroots through to the professional game, and generates significant revenue to support investment into English football each year.
The FA oversees England international teams acrossmen's, women's, youth and disability football, as well as running the National League System and FA Competitions including the Emirates FA Cup, Barclays FA Women's Super League, FAWomen's Championship, and Vitality Women's FA Cup, and the world-class facilities of Wembley Stadium and St. George's Park,all with a purpose to Unite the Game and Inspire the Nation.

The Senior Partnerships Sales Manager will be part of dynamic sales team that are the driving force behind building new partnerships that commercialise the FA's national teams, infrastructure and competition assets. The role and associated sales approach aims to generate new revenue, drive reach for our programmes, align with the FA's strategic objectives, and create value across the grassroots football landscape.
Responsible for delivering sales and building corporate relationships within this high performing business.
Driving all aspects of the FA's sales process from generating leads to execution of the contract.
Liaison and management with other departments to align all internal stakeholder commercial needs.
Able to build a strong purpose marketing sales narrative and create bespoke presentations targeting specific business categories.
Further development of the FA's sales materials and routes to market, building connections with key agency partners.
Take a creative and intelligent approach to monetise our assets presenting new and compelling ideas and solutions to drive innovative strategies.
Required to develop new relationships with potential commercial partners across a variety of sectors, categories and geographies.
Working with our sales agency partner to agree category strategy and targeted approach.
Able to build and present engaging presentations to engage potential FA partners.
A good understanding of research data and ability to create a compelling business case.
Management of internal and external sales reporting.
Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
What we are looking for:
Good understanding of the commercial aspects of the sports sector and existing partnerships,
Marketing trends across multiple business sectors, existing and emerging,
Good understanding of the media landscape and trends in marketing.
Minimum of 10 years' experience and proven track record of concluding significant partnership deals from initiation through to final contact signature. And or a strong sales record in another business category such as FMCG,
Strong understanding of all marketing disciplines,
Working in a complex stakeholder environments,
Selling properties at the highest level within prospective companies,
Ability to speak at events, challenging opinion with strong communication skills,
Working within a multi-national and cultural environment on local, regional and global commercialisation projects.
Strong presentation skills and the proven ability to sell,
Understands the notion of purpose partnerships not sponsorships,

Please be aware that unless you are on ahomebased contract, your contract with The FA will specify a fixed location of either Wembley Stadium, St. George's Park or our Processing Centre.
We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
