ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Premier League Broadcaster Servicing and Activation team is looking for a Senior Manager, Media Rights Servicing and Activation, to provide best-in class account management and servicing to our Rights Holders in the UK.
This is a newly created position, based out of the Premier League London office at an exciting time to join an expanding Media Rights team. Working for the Head of Media Rights Servicing and Activation and collaboratively with the broader Media Rights team, this role will have primary responsibility for the execution and delivery of media rights partnerships in the UK.
The right candidate will have a strong background in media rights servicing and activation, as well as an astute understanding of the commercial drivers that make media rights partnerships a success. They will have experience of providing a key interface between a rights holder and its client(s) and have a passion for customer servicing.
The role will help to deliver a rights holder experience that sets the Premier League apart as the premium property to work with: helping partners (both entities and individuals) to deliver on objectives and providing ‘opportunities to delight.

All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.
The role
The primary contact for Premier League rights holders in the UK across all contractual and commercial matters, primarily helping to manage, support and develop our broadcast partners utilisation, activation and promotion of Premier League rights
Understand growth objectives of business owners/functional leads at each partner, from a position of knowledge, and help to make them successful
Work with colleagues, Clubs and PLP to ensure that all rights holders have access to a ‘best-in-class service and one commensurate with the Premier League standing as a premium rights holder
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all UK media rights agreements and associated directives/guidelines
Act as the Broadcasting department contact for any UK market specific requests/issues from Broadcasters, Commercial Partners, sponsors etc
Develop relationships and contacts in order to assist with planning and delivery of Premier League events in the UK market
Build trust internally and externally by navigating issues pragmatically and professionally
Harness the Premier League eco-system to better support broadcaster priorities and plans long and short-term
Outstanding customer service mindset, including implementing our philosophy to ‘surprise and delight our clients
Requirements for the role
Significant experience in a commercial business environment, within a rights holder, broadcaster, corporate brand management, or advertising / digital agency
Proven project management skills and experience
Proven expertise in a client servicing team, within a sports rights holder, governing body, agency, or working for a sponsor brand would be an advantage
Relationship management skills to develop, maintain and strengthen client and stakeholder relationships including internal and external relationships
Strategic thinking mindset to support clients objectives and drive business growth and innovation internally and externally
Problem solving with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems
Analytical skills critical to gather and interpret data, draw insights and make informed decisions to improve client service delivery
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Crisis management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment
Excellent command of corporate IT tools and ability to follow the internal user rules (Outlook, etc.)
