Job Title:                   Senior Manager, Partnership MarketingReports to:                 Senior Director, Partnership Marketing The Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing oversees partner related activities including activation and execution of all contractually obligated sponsorship elements. The position oversees 12-15 small to medium-sized partner accounts and 2-3 larger accounts. This person will build strong relationships with current partners to aid in the renewal and retention of sponsors by achieving their goals. This position will also plan and develop strategic department-wide initiatives and events in collaboration with the Senior Director. RESPONSIBILITIES: ·       Explore and understand each partner’s business and industry, and the goals and objectives for their partnership with the Union·       Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and fulfilling corporate sponsor agreements and their outlined contractual obligations·       Will be assigned partnership accounts to fully manage, handle special requests and execute marketing strategies and initiatives of the client·       Work with sponsors and/or outside agencies to fulfill all corporate partnerships elements·       Lead the partnership onboarding process to co-develop and execute partnership activation plans·       Responsible for communicating particulars of all partnership benefits including deadlines, approval processes, specifications and other relevant logistics to clients and internal departments·       Coordinate and maintain all partner inventory management, along with strategic oversight of department-wide inventory·       Review promotional concepts, including evaluation and approval of promotional programs, rules, artwork and in-marketing supporting media·       Create mid-season and end of year season recaps for clients and assist in the renewal process·       Take lead in developing and managing a strategic plan for all renewal accounts·       Research new opportunities to help grow the business of each corporate partner by keeping current with goals, objectives and the competitive corporate landscape in the market·       Assist sales team with all sales presentations for prospecting partners·       Responsible for working and attending team events, promotions, and venue events along with planning and managing partner events·       Must be able to work during all home games; Multiple Game Day duties, including: Pre-Game Entertainment  and activation, Halftime, Premium Items - procurement/distribution·       Work closely with other departments within the organization on partner related programs including but not limited to game operations, community relations, public relations, tickets sales, marketing and facility operations·       Maintain detailed planning records using CRM/KORE system.·       Forecast, create, track and maintain budgets for all identified expenses within the department (e.g. client fulfillment costs)·       Maintain the ability and eagerness to take on additional team projects, outside of the scope of the individual assigned partner responsibilities·       Work closely with Senior Director to strategic plan and execute on more top-level projects across the department·       Other duties as assigned by Senior Director QUALIFICATIONS: ·       Bachelor’s degree required·       Five to six (5-6) years of experience in corporate partnerships and/or a similar work environment·       Proficient in Microsoft Office and detailed orientated; strong communication skills·       Willingness to work beyond normal business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required·       Competency in social media, grassroots marketing and general marketing·       Must demonstrate ability to work well both independently and as part of a team; must have a positive attitude·       Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients and facility management·       Superior presentation skills.  Easily presents in front of a group as well as in a more personal setting·       A strategic thinker who will embrace activating partnerships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment ·       Planned high-end client events and trips·       Open, accessible, outgoing, sales-oriented team member who develops and builds strong relationships with community, civic, and media entities ·       Ability to develop and implement strategic, operational, and tactical business and marketing plans ·       A strong understanding of the professional sports business, including the products, service expectations, importance of media and community relations ·       Desire to learn and grow professionally in the career of sales and service in sports and entertainment
