JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, Partnership MarketingDEPARTMENT: Partnership MarketingREPORTING TO: Senior Director, Partnership MarketingLOCATION: New York, NYPOSITION OVERVIEW:The Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing, will drive commercial revenues and impactful marketing campaigns through the management and renewal of brand partnerships for New York City FC. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with brands and agencies for a growing portfolio of Partners to ensure they maximize the use of NYCFC rights and benefits to drive brand and business objectives.The Senior Manager, Partnerships Marketing will work closely with senior functional leads to deliver and optimize Partner rights including digital content, player appearances, immersive experiences, branding, tickets, hospitality and merchandise. They will also support the broader New York City FC and City Football Group Commercial Partnerships team in the packaging of Club assets linked to Partner renewals and new business pitches to drive commercial revenues.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Work closely with Senior Director and VP of Partnerships to develop go-to-market strategy for priority Club assets and marketing platformsDevelop deep understanding the brand and business objectives of each club PartnerProactive development of marketing concepts and ideas for Partners which leverage Club assets and platformsBuilding strong relationships with Partners and their agency teamsEnsure Partner initiatives adhere to the brand standards and guidelines of the ClubShowcase a proven track record of representing premium rights holders to deliver revenue growthStructure complex rights packages to meet partner objectives and lead associated negotiationsAbility to navigate complex negotiations and close partnership dealsMeet and exceed personal and team quarterly and targets through the management and renewal of existing integrated partnerships.Broad commercial acumen within Sports, Entertainment + CultureDevelop and maintain a relationship of trust and respect with key internal stakeholders within New York City Football Club to ensure delivery against Partner objectivesLeverage CRM and analytical tools to ensure sustained Partner performanceWHO YOU ARE:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field requiredFive to seven years of experience in property management and/or sales in Sports, Entertainment or MediaSound knowledge of sports sponsorship contracts and ability to create impactful partnership activationsPossesses a high degree of discretion, diligence, professionalism and excellent judgment in dealing with professional athletes from multiple nationalitiesExperience in the New York marketplace preferredFluency in a second language preferred but not requiredADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFCAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessaryNew York City Football Club requires a COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, subject to exception under applicable lawMust be able to work games scheduled which may be at night and on weekends and holidaysWHAT WE OFFER:Excellent health, dental & vision insurance, with options to fit you and your family’s needsComprehensive and competitive benefit programs, including maternal & paternal leaveAncillary benefits: Commuter, gym membership, and Citi Bike discountsYour health is important! Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
