In order to succeed, ACFC must build and maintain strong relationships within our broad SoCal community. The Sr. Manager of Community Outreach serves as a cultural ambassador for the club with soccer and community groups across the greater LA area. In this role you will build a deeply engaged network of fans and partners, and drive revenue through grassroots Street Team outreach, unique community events, and Community Camps & Clinics. This role reports to the Head of Community.


Be the front-line representative of ACFC Brand at community events.
Source Street Team events that combine awareness-building and revenue-driving opportunities with impact and community-building.
Build and maintain relationships with a broad network of individuals and organizations through virtual and in-person events.
With Head of Community, generate annual and quarterly outreach plans, incorporating feedback from internal and external stakeholders, to drive community engagement, ticket sales, and Supporter growth.
Identify opportunities to include Corporate Partners, Supporters, and Impact Partners in outreach activities.
Project manage execution of all Community event social media promotions, newsletter items, and web page updates
Track expenditures for all outreach-related activities, including but not limited to event budgets, meals & entertainment, promotional items, and giveaway packages.
Track leads and data gathered from community events to use data insights and on the ground observations to consistently evolve best practices for outreach and identify new segments of the community to approach.
Generate and present monthly updates to Community, Ticketing and Marketing teams, including qualitative and quantitative insights and recommendations on outreach events.
Build a diverse group of Street Team members across multiple geographic locations to engage directly with new community segments.
5+ year(s) of relevant experience in community development and/or event management
Working knowledge of Southern California soccer culture and landscape.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and able to adapt to quickly changing logistical and strategic needs.
Exceptional capacity to synthesize feedback and observations to provide valuable context and input for strategy development.
Adept in interpersonal communication and comfortable navigating complex interactions either in person, virtually or through direct communications channels including mobile apps and email.
Personable, proactive, creative, and innovative team-player who believes in the mission and values of Angel City FC and the NWSL preferred.
Ability to work all home match days, non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to set up community promotional activations, which often requires carrying moderate-sized materials or boxes; as such, employee must be able to work in outdoor conditions and lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds.
Knowledge of Google Suite, Zoom, and Asana a plus.
Bilingual with fluency in Spanish, Korean, or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) a plus.
