ROLE DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join the First Team Performance Analysis Department at Norwich City Football Club.

The ideal candidate will be committed and hard-working, with a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge alongside effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Performance Analysis to ensure all Performance Analysis services within the First Team run efficiently for players, coaches, and all staff.



Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


· Contribute & lead the development and implementation of the performance analysis framework to deliver effective insights that contribute to the winning strategies for the First Team.

· Create pre-match presentations which should help to identify trends and key themes for the next match opponent and provide an evidence base (video & data) to support the game plan development.

· Contribute & lead certain aspects of all First Team analysis requirements (pre-match, set plays, live and post-match analysis).

· Contribute & lead to the delivery of performance reporting to senior staff and management.

· Interpret data, develop and create interactive reports & presentations.

· Provide analytical and technical support on all required First Team matchdays.

· Offer support to the improve the alignment of performance analysis processes across the football club.

· Assist in writing and continually updating the department’s standard operating procedures (SOP) documents.

Essential

· Undergraduate Degree in a Sports Science / Coaching-related subject

· Minimum of 3 year’s working in elite football.

· Demonstrates a high level of tactical understanding of the game.

· Knowledge and expertise of industry standard performance, specifically Catapult Pro Video Suite (Focus, MatchTracker & The Hub), Video Telestration Softwares (Coach Paint).

· Proficient using Mac iOS & Windows products (Keynote, Numbers, Final Cut Pro Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

· FA Coaching Licence Level 2 or equivalent.



Desirable

· MSc Degree in a Performance Analysis-related subject

· UEFA B Licence or equivalent.

· FA Talent ID Level 2.
